Quite possibly my most symbolic video ever made.
This musical artist isn’t very well known but I thought this song would fit ideally with the Final Fantasy VII movie because of the symbolism between the song lyrics and the plot. There is deep meaning in this video. In the video “Hope” is represented by Aeris who gives strength to Cloud to “go on living” his life with Tifa and the others after the events that had occurred years ago.
This video is nothing more but smooth flowing editing in my progression towards professional grade editing. The use of effects is limited and the video is geared towards timing and scene selection.
Pay attention to the lyrics and find the symbolism between Aeris and Hope. Aeris is the hope that fuels Cloud's strength to go on. Cloud simply wants “more than his world can give” him. He wants Aeris to live again, but in the end he will realize that she is alive within him and life stream.
Here is my contribution to the best game and story ever made.
