• Comments: This video, labeled as SH086 and ANM1, took three months to complete mostly because I had a ton of classwork and other stuff wrapped around it. It's the first demo ever made at full-screen fidelity, and in the original MPEG2, rocks flat on picture quality.
  
  The end, with the pandas (thanks to Acid Reflux's Emily, without permission), could have been massaged a little better, but I was sick of doing timing and wanted it to be fucking over. This demo set a record for most sources in a SH video with 85, mostly manga, and of those mostly h-dojins. Hooray secret ingredients: hentai and Bucky O'Hare.
  
  Shin Hats Self-Grade: A-. It's a demo...that's just the way it goes. Since it *is* a demo, and just barely within the parameters of "anime music video", I'm not expecting to to do real well score-wise; it's pretty much up to show people what the hell a demo is.
  Stats: #clips: 218. avg length: 1.40 sec. total time: 70 hours.
  
  Bucky O'Hare isn't technically anime; it was an American-designed, Korean-produced show that ran for 13 weeks in the fall of 1991 and was cancelled shortly thereafter, being way too hip for its Sunday-morning timeslot. If you squint hard enough, you can see the 21 Jump Street and this-is-your-brain DARE-ad jokes that were typical of its anime-esqe take on the Zeitgeist (recall that The Simpsons was also starting up around this period, with a similar referentiality).
