• Comments: A friend of mine got me hooked on this song. More accurately, a friend of my tortured me by repeatedly playing this until it was driven into my mind. Being the idiot I am I decided an AMV needed to be made out of it, thus guaranteeing that I listen to this song more times than any man should have to. So I obtained translated lyrics and went at it. I couldn't find matches for all the items in the song but I'm suprised by how many I was able to match. I'm also annoyed because starting around a month after I completed the video every single anime I saw had a perfect match for one of the foods listed.
  
  Just to note, if you don't recognize that last bit of merchandise it's a Sailor Bubba booblehead. Anime Central is the only con I go to so I have no idea how well known this guy is but at Acen Sailor Bubba is a very well known staffer. I originally intended to submit this to Anime Central 2004 which explains why I felt safe including it. In the end I submitted a different video to Acen and just released this one to the internet so now I'm stuck with a joke I have to explain.
  
  The technical details:
  This was done on a P2 400 with 256 megs ram and ~5 gig free HD space. I tried to get as many DVD sources I could which meant most of the source is borrowed/rented. As such I had to break the song down into little chucks and once I was done with a chunk I was really done, I couldn't go redo it. There are several spots in the song I wish I could go back and redo but by now the original source has long since been deleted. If you notice that some parts have worse editing than others, well, congrats on finding the parts I did first. This was my first real attempt at effects and lip-syncing and overall I there are quite a few technical mistakes. I rather like the fun feeling of the video despite that, one of these days I should probably remaster it. The entire thing was done in Premiere with heavy frame by frame Photoshoping.
  
  I didn't see anyplace in the source list to mention merchandize and didn't want to pollute AD's newly cleaned list so here's some things that are in the video but not listed in the source:
  Neon Genesis Evangelion box set, Pocky (various flavors), Ryo-oh-ki doll, Ken-oh-ki doll, Sailor Bubba bobblehead, Trouble Chocolate cover, and Yan Yan.
  
  
  Since I did make an effort at matching the footage to the foods in the song I'd hate for that effort to be ruined because no one understands the japanese lyrics. I doubt you'll have much better luck understanding the (badly) translated english lyrics, I know I don't, but here they are:
