• Comments: The final part of the Perfect Blue trilogy, it's finally Mima's time to shine...after two vids of playing it either soulless, insane, or homicidal...we finally get to see Mima facing all the demons from before one after the other, first separating her role, her acting from reality, then the end of Mr. Me-Mania, then the truth about Rumi revealed and defeated. Very simply, this one is made to tie up all the loose ends, and make Mima look heroic. Definitely felt good. I SO need to do a straight up happy video after this.....
  
  The biggest issue with this one is the end....I was unable to get the sound out of the DVD without it skipping in spots, and unfortunately, the last few lines, again, skip in all the wrong places....but I'd really like to get this video out before I start classes tomorrow, so, I dont have time to ask around for clean tracks. It can also be argued that there's really not enough action in this one to corroborate what was going for in this vid...that, you can blame on the song being just plain shorter than the Deftones song (Battle-Axe: 6 minutes; Open Fire: 4 minutes), and having to cram the two big battles into a really short space. One of the major reasons I chose this song was because "And you're my obsession/I love you to the bones/And Ana wrecks your life" felt too perfect for Me-Mania's death, but there's only about 30-45 seconds until the song's end from there. Other than that, everything's fine, and having completed three videos over the course of a weekend, Im gonna ask around, see what the world record is :-) Hopefully, the trilogy works in hindsight....lots of work went into them.
