• Comments: This video marks the first part of what I will dub the Perfect Blue Trilogy of AMVs. Since my addle-pated brain (I wish I could remember where I've read that term before) couldn't seem to decide which one out of a set of, maybe 20-30 songs to do for this anime, I decided to level with it, do something artistic with the ideas. And as such, there's going to be 3 vids when it's all done: This first one for Mr. Me-Mania, showing the world through his rose colored glasses, a world in which he's just a fan, living his dream of having his beloved Mima all to herself, and protecting her from harm, which is, of course, grade-A crap; a second one from the "real" Mima's POV, taunting actress Mima at every turn about her condition; and ending that one with Mima at her lowest, a third one where we see Mima triumph (in the end, anyway). ooh, I hope I've got it in me to pull this off....
  
  Anyways....this vid pretty much speaks for itself in terms of content....Not too heavy on effects, except for a few editing tricks that'll go unnoticed by the untrained eye. There's a couple of half-assed attempts at lip sync in there, but Movie Maker kinda fouled them up in the conversion, so I think I'll NOT be clicking that lip sync button in the technical details section...The ending though, in lieu of my usual Otep signature end, is a sort of sideways way to say "To Be Continued" (for those who saw my Angel Sanctuary vid: I mean it this time)....as I get to work on the second video. Watch this space.
