• Comments: In another effort to make an AMV using recent anime there was a strong pull toward conceptualizing the idea behind this project. This anime was hyped up by quite a few fans of the manga, and when the first episode premiered it had enough plot to keep me coming back every week for what would happen next. As an anime fan, its difficult to rate how it was adapted from the manga, and yet as an animation the show has its moments. And this AMV is meant to introduce the anime to those who have never even heard of the manga. There's a psychological element throughout, and Metal Health felt like it would fit the themes the way a straight jacket would. The original voice acting made the story worth coming back to, and then when shit hits the fan you just gotta see how Denji pulls through. This project proved difficult insofar as determining the timing of the clips and which fight scenes to sync with which beats. The time for this project was roughly three months, with the little progress to show until after the second month. Once I did figure it out, the timeline filled in quickly and I timed the cuts the way they needed to be. Enjoy!
