  I've been wanting to do a video that shows the dramatic side of Trigun for quite a long time. I began searching for the right song, and came across Edwin's "Alive", which had the right lyrics and speed for what I wanted to do. I then began planning, way back in October 2002. I spent much longer planning the video than actually editing it--I didn't need all that much editing time since it was all planned out anyway.
  
  The video mostly centers around Rem and Vash's memories of her. So, I called the video "Sound Life", after her song. I also centered around Planet Gunsmoke and how everyone was having a hard time living through life on the planet, including Vash.
  
  I didn't go too effects heavy, except for some colour/saturation effects, and a bit of frame-by-frame editing at the beginning and end of the video, with the red geranium petals.
  
  I didn't count there being lip sync in the video, because I only synced to two words in the whole video, in order to give you the idea that Vash is telling the story.
  
  I know the video's very long, but I didn't want to cut out any of the song because I had use for it all. The video itself is much more drawn-out compared to my other videos. I tried to have as tight syncing as possible while still maintaining the dramatic effect.
  
  The song has lyrics that seem to have an inner meaning to them. I tried to put that feel into my video as well:
