    This AMV is a sort of an exercise - it's my first AMV in two years. I wanted to submit it to this year's Animefest contest at Brno, but failed to finish it on time due to my lack of ideas and motivation. The song is 5 minutes long and with only one half done, I realized that I failed at planning. The structure was fine (with refrain and all), I just couldn't think of any footage to match the lyrics.

    Three months later, upon finishing all my schools exams, I decided to give it another shot. In less than a week I filled in the missing scenes and finished the AMV. The song is extremely slow (no beats or strong rhytm), so it was extremely hard to capture the viewers' attention all the time.

    The song is written by czech folk singer Jarek Nohavica (available for free at http://nohavica.cz/).

    A little trivia: Which animes did actually feature winter footage?

    (only Pon Poko - all the other has been GIMPed in ;D)
