*sigh* I have succumbed to the masses; I have created a Tales-centric video and used the words "Tales of" in the title.
Anyhow, this was inspired by all four collective DDR projects, though moreso the fourth (seeing as that's where this song is from). But actually, I remember randomly picking this song before even watching it and deciding "this is cool, I'll make an AMV out of it". Weird. o__o I made it over the course of two or three hours in the early hours of the morning in my caffeinated boredom, and I can honestly say this is my favourite out of the other three videos made under similar circumstances. I never get tired of watching it.
As the painfully obvious title suggests, this little guy (at only 1:42) is another one of those showcase things that barely show you any footage, but somehow still give glimpses of enough to get you interested. Surprisingly, I used clips from all eight of the games in the "Tales" series (which I've become extremely fond of over the past half a year), highlighting the purdy graphics and all the action-scene snippets and such.
Now, I don't know how this happened, but the spot-on timing at the very beginning was mostly accidental. I just slapped on a number of clips, re-watched it, and was like "... okay, WOW". The rest I did of my own free will, of course. (Never mind that one part where the clip's too short near the middle. I don't feel like going back to fix it, for fear of throwing off the timing in the rest of the video.)
So shoo! I'm done talking, so go behold my masterpiece!
