    Well....you're reading this. Amazing. What do I write now? I started editing way back in '04 after my brother came home from his first year of college with an amv he had made with a fansub of Spirited Away (don't fret, we own the DVD now). After having seen a number of amv's, my personal favorites being "Eden" by Hakura and "Shellshock" by Rubyeye. With those amv's inspiring me, my first project was to remake my brother's blasphemous fansub-footage amv with DVD footage. Of course, he had premiere, and I didn't. Still, using WMM, I found editing interesting enough to get my hands on a close friend's copy of Premiere 6.5 (which I still use today, haha). That gave birth to my first original amv, using a song from Titan A.E. that I was wild about at the time, "Cosmic Castaway" by electrasy. Despite only par video footage (I had DVDs, but no knowledge of avisynth filtering at the time), the movie came out quite entertaining. I still enjoy watching it. My next amv I started my senior year and finished my first semester at Brigham Young University. This amv draws heavily on the mood's portrayed in sentimental Trigun AMV's (specifically "Eden") with a touch of action moving to the heavy beat of Rob Dougan's music for The Matrix trilogy. Its one of those amv's that I assume only extreme fans of Trigun would enjoy, since many of the subtitles I added are direct quotes from the show (something only a fanatic would pick up). The amv also has a lot of subtleties that are probably missed by the casual amv viewer, but the editing is very good IMOP. In the end, I feel it was far too esoteric and thoughtful, and would have fared much better as "more action and less drama", which is probably what lead me to my next AMV project- "Asphyxiation".
